Strong Known Related-Key Attacks and the Security of ECDSA

This paper introduces the Strong Known Related-Key Attack model for systems in which related secret keys are generated by design, including blockchain applications. It shows that Schnorr signatures are insecure in this model, while ECDSA security can be reduced to its chosen-message unforgeability.
